Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
let me guess? dells days of deals? :)
yes it does come with the dvi cable, a vga cable (pre-attached to the monitor) but no hdmi cable as there is no hdmi input on this monitor anyway
is there a shadow cast from this spot? These dust things are somewhat common with ipod touch/phone screens. I had one on mine but didn't bug me as much as say a dead/hot pixel.
Apparently I had one on my last crt a viewsonic 19" incher... always thought it was a dead pixel but was informed...
For me it depends on the price I paid. If I paid full retail then definitely zero tolerance, but if I got one deeply discounted than I wouldn't mind 1 or 2 depending on the deal.
Can someone recommend a large lcd (24" or higher other than the dell 2408WFP) with a non TN panel with a builtin pivot function? (ie. not requiring a separate vesa armbar mount please)
I noticed my monitor (HP F2105) used to randomly hum when shut off at night. Some nights it would hum and some nights it wouldn't. When it did it was terribly annoying and kept me from falling asleep. I was able to make some following observations that could perhaps help someone with a similar...
I will be buying a new pc soon and I was wondering if some of you guys can offer me some advice.
I am looking at purchasing a pre-built machine but something under 600 and super quiet.
I originally had an HP slimline which normally was very quiet but had a bad habit of automatically...

I bought an s3120n a couple of months ago but had to return it because the fan would just blare up at the most unexpected times. It would be a loud WHOOSH for about 2-30 seconds. If i'm playing games, surfing the net or...

Thanks for the help happy hopping! Unfortunately, my hp is no longer under warranty :( I did leave the monitor on while i turned off the pc last night and the sound was not heard while i slept... this might be the only solution
I've owned an old viewsonic crt monitor and everytime we turned it off, it made this awful high pitch noise coming from the power cord.
I moved onto to an HP F2105 and it has worked like a charm until recently it started exhibiting this same awful high pitch noise after we shut down. I have...
I own both
the new w2207 is sweet because it can pivot and it's super vibrant - however the viewing angles and color accuracy is better on the f2105. I still use the f2105 as my main monitor.
