Try clearing CMOS again, I've done this as well. If clearing CMOS doesnt work, try putting your ram in a different DIMM spot? Pull the battery out of the Motherboard for at least 15 seconds. I'm really sure you did not damage anything, your mobo just doesnt like the current configuration.
I've got a Danger Den RBX with 1/2" barbs with mounting holes for an Athlon XP/Socket A. I'm trying to sell it so I can afford a Swiftech 6002-A. Has all mounting hardware and is lapped to a near-mirror finish. Kept my 2.4ghz 2500+ to 3degrees Celcius above Ambient.
