    A test with a different PSU revealed the same results, the 4870 is a brick, new 6950 is on order, Boy newegg is loving me this week.

    Yes the same issues now with the old pc as the new one, the video card won't post. Going to see if I can get a hold of another power supply with 2 PCI express power plugs today and test. I got a feeling I am going to ordering the Radeon 6950 earlier then I anticipated.
