Fudoh said ps1 games on ps2 would be just as good. Btw, i have a chance to pick up an xbr960 for free with stand. I know it would be great for ps2/xbox/gc games but not sure how the 960 would scale 240P content from ps1 and older consoles...
Out of curiosity, what would technically look better...a ps1 game on a ps1 console using a D24/20F1U, or a ps1 game from psn or disk playing on a BC ps3 with the smoothing setting on using a D24 or 1080P display?
Yes, please update us with pics and your impressions. I'm waiting for the ew2750zl to release in the US so im looking foward to what you think of it. Did you order it already?
I actually been a member of shumps for a while now. I message Fudoh for advice a lot. Accrding to him, the D24/D32 and 20F1U are the 3 best for 240p/480i with the 20F1U being 4:3 and D32/D24 being 16:9, as you know. They go for pretty high prices on ebay especially the D32/D24.
PS...seen that...
Ok thanks. The F5500 is impossible to find new nowadays. Theres one in "excellent condition" on ebay now with only 13 hours left and 24 bids. Up to $162.50 with $28 shipping fee. Ive never seen one go for less than $200. Maybe an F5000 once for $198 or $200.
Interesting on the samsung F4500. I...
So...as of now if you are me, what would you go with out of the three ive mentioned? F5500 (ebay), benq ew2750zl or s32e590c??? Price being no factor. Its hard to compare the s32 being that theres no reviews yet. One advantage it does have over the F5000/5500 is a flicker free backlight, but not...
Its different for everyone. I never had much experience with a 32" 1080P display, but my brother has a 24" he uses for competitive and a 32" samsung F5000 for casual/single player and he says he doesn't notice pixels at his desk and seems to like it a lot. I have a feeling id notice though. I...
The series 5 samsungs are always popping up on ebay, mostly the F5500 which im 99.9% sure uses the exact panel as the F5000 but with smart features. Though i did read a review saying the F5000 had slightly better black levels, which is hard to believe.
Would you jump on an F5500 off ebay for...
So you think id be better of with an F5000/F5500 32" TV??? Do you think the s32e590c uses the better MVA panel since its listed at 5000:1 contrast? Thanks.
Also, according to pcmonitorsinfo, the benq ew2750zl was measures at over 4000:1 contrast even though its specs had it down for only...
The s32e590c is listed at 5000:1 contrast but nobody has tested it yet. I also found out over at pcmonitorsinfo that theres a benq ew2750zl that uses a new panel. Someone said they messaged benq and theres a possible late august, early september release for it. PCM tested it and is also trying...
Thanks for the heads up on the review. Just came out today too. Looks good and a bit better than the ew2740l. Just wish they could have at least added VESA holes but they skipped it again. At least the fixed stand isnt giraffe like, like on the s27c750p.
Hopefully someone reviews the curved...
Hey guys. I looking for a 27"-32" lcd monitor that has the best black levels and picture quality. I owned a samsung s27c750p from 2013 (after watching NCX review it) but sold it this year due to the stand being to tall which annoyed the hell out of me. The blacks and contrast were measured on...
