Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have a Z87 Deluxe board with Windows 7.
The ASUS AMD00 ASPI driver doesn't load. Every time I try to install the driver it times out, and remains an "Unknown Device" in device manager.
I feel everything is working though. AI Suite III is loaded, and seems to be functioning...
I finally got Bluetooth working in Windows 8. This was a windows software problem and not a ASUS hardware problem. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but I followed a few threads on Microsoft Support to finally getting it working.
fsquirt & btmshellx were the key files...
After some additional troubleshooting, I found that going between W7 & W8 without completely disconnecting the power cord would result in the Bluetooth Device not being recognized in either OS. Anybody else dual booting, and having problems with the on board Bluetooth device?
After finally...
The device disappeared after I disabled Bluetooth in the BIOS. After that I shut down the computer, and unplugged everything. After starting it back up and re-enabling Bluetooth it's now working partially. Everything seems normal, but I'm still having trouble transferring a file from my phone to...
I don't know if it was working before the update. I used it shortly after building this system, and just tried it again recently. I overwrote 1405 with no change. There is an Unknown device in Device manager that has this Device Status:
Under the Details tab it is listed as...
I can't get Bluetooth to work anymore. I don't use it often, but it did work when I first built the system. I have it set to enable in the Bios, but when I go to load the driver it gives me an error: No Bluetooth device was detected.....
Thank you! It was in the boot menu. Seems that fixed the problem with all the drives re-installing after every boot. The Keyboard and Mouse only have about 3 second delay now, so that may be just the driver loading. I appreciate the help.
Sorry I didn't post that in my last response, but I don't see any UEFI setting called "USB Initial"
I did change "EHCI Hand-off" a few times with no change in my USB problems.
Separately I also changed the other 2 settings in the USB configuration menu ("Legacy USB Support" & "Intel...
If I unplug all the External Drives the Logitech mouse and keyboard responds immediately. I can keep one external drive plugged in with no effect on the start-up delay on the Logitech stuff. Once I plug 2 or more external drives up the Logitech has a 10-20 second delay once the computer is...
Z-87 Deluxe problem: After restart or cold boot, all USB devices re-install.
Symptoms: 1st my wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse delay about 10-20 seconds before responding. Once logged on, all 3 external USB drives pop up "Auto Play" messages like they were just reinstalled
