Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Interesting. Most of last month was spent sending defective 460x2wins back to EVGA (they finally got me a working 660ti) but I was still able to game at reasonably high settings at 1920x1200 with my trusty *gasp* GTX280 (2008).
Your low light performance will, barring some huge generational gap, nearly always be determined by the speed of the glass you have. Modern crop cameras like the ones you listed, or on my side of things, the T1i, T2i, T3i, etc. will benefit far more from fast glass than they will from minor...
I just saw a deal for a 6D for $1600-ish. I really don't see, price vs. performance, how anything could beat that. The T2i is superb, though, so if you chose to invest in more glass, that would make sense too. I was a big fan of the Canon 17-55/2.8 IS.
I am very concerned about it. No, the consoles will not utilize the degree of RAM we're worried about needing on the PC, but that's not the point and never has been. We ARE going to see PC games in the near future (7+ months) that begin to look much better than what we're used to and it will...
No. What I'm saying is that greed and entitlement are apt counters to greed and entitlement. Producers are by nature predatory (or at least to succeed, they should be), and simply loathe when consumers find a way to regulate their ambitions. You really can't contend that the best deterrent...
It's not irresponsible to steal. Actually, it's competition, simply not by your rules. If someone is smarter (speaking of those who develop means of circumventing theft countermeasures, rather than those who simply employ them), they win. You can scream about how it's against your moral code and...
Not quite. Sociopaths don't really feel anything. They try to emulate what they observe but it's never genuine. Trolls, in most circumstances, derive real pleasure from what they do.
Just realized exactly which forum this is in. Christ, I fail. Just substitute WiC for MGS3 and completely omit Nagano in that case. Shame Snake Eater never got ported like its predecessors.
Deus Ex
Freespace 2
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Runners up: World in Conflict, Mirror's Edge, Nagano Winter Olympics '98 for N64 (Don't judge me. Had a blast playing this game with friends for damn near a decade.)
Absolutely floored by the lack of basic physics and chemistry knowledge in this thread, with few precious exceptions.
Well put, just needs reposted for greater exposure (pun certainly not intended).
Exactly. SP is proving to be some considerable fun for me as well. The graphics are ... regrettable but definitely not BAD by any stretch. Just a shame the MP is utterly worthless :(
Was a beautiful launch. My family and I had planned a vacation around the STS133 launch but we got there the 26th (their window was supposed to open on the 27th) but they bumped it up to the 24th. One night in the hotel we caught a local news blurb about the X37B heading up atop an Atlas V on...
Killzone 2 FELT like shit. Controls should NOT be the area where you try to innovate because it's the primary point of contact with the game. You can try to ignore visuals and focus on gameplay if they're not to your liking. If certain weapons don't work for you, you can try to use others to...
