Okay, I read some good reviews about the Dell 2407WFP so I contacted the seller and I can pick it up tomorrow :D I chose this screen over the NEC EA231 because of the 16:10 ratio, which I will probably like much more then 16:9.

Thanks for your reply. I only mentioned the dp connection as a feature I like. I don't care at all about the speakers because I already have a really nice 2.1 Syrincs M3-220 setup.
