Thanks for the great advice Uncle Vito. I am curious though, the reason that I took the monitor in for repair initially was because the tube wouldn't turn on. How would I know that the tube is working when I couldn't get it to turn on at all prior to bringing it in? Thanks again!

Well, my repair place called, they have reassembled the unit and are going to refund my $75 deposit to have it repaired. They cannot find any information on it anywhere. I will call around to see if I can't find a better place to repair it locally. If not, Uncle Vito may be getting it...

I bought one last month for $25. It was awfully dark and I couldn't calibrate it properly. It was worth the gamble/experiment and I tossed it after living with it for a week and deciding I didn't want to bother with it anymore.
