Mounting Asetek Antarctica without MB holes?

According to the Swiftech website the MCW6002 water-block comes in two versions. stepped and unstepped and so I could not use the same waterblock on an A64 and an Athlon XP. It seems my search still goes on. michael

Mounting Asetek Antarctica without MB holes?

Thanks for the reply DS. Not an ideal solution in this case I'm afraid. The reason I'm looking at the Asetek Antarctica water block even though I will have mounting problems is that I wanted a waterblock that I could use on my current XP CPU and then carry straight across to an A64 system...

Mounting Asetek Antarctica without MB holes?

Does anyone have any ideas about mounting the Asetek WaterChill CPU Cooler on a motherboard without mounting holes? Could Danger Den's RBX Socket Tab Hold Down be easly modified for this? Are there any other 3rd party solutions that might do the job? thanks in advance michael
