    Radiator bolts for slim fans?

I've never seen one like that before. All of mine the threads go all the way from head down to the end of the shaft. Odd...

    Used Watercooling

Solid tips. I knew about my WTB option in our forum but wanted to see if there were others. You know, like Swappa or BackMarket for phones, but for WC. Thank you all.

    Radiator bolts for slim fans?

Ahhh, I never knew about the nut trick to force a rethread. I have always had a little resistance when I go to screw it in and I just push past it. I'll be doing that from now on when I have to cut.

    Used Watercooling

Looking for a tip on where to go to get quality used watercooling gear. Been wanting to for years, done plenty of research, just don't like the startup price for new rads, pumps, reservoirs, fittings, blocks etc... Does anything like that exist? Or should I throw a hail mary into the FS/FT section?

    Radiator bolts for slim fans?

Rethread the end? This doesn't make sense. The threads are there, you're just cutting part of the shaft. This is only if local hardware store doesn't have 20mm in stock but does have 30mm. Lose the top end? Do you mean the head of the screw? You don't cut that part off. Both ends needed to...

    Radiator bolts for slim fans?

Agreed with above. Ace, HomeDepot, Lowes, Menards, whoever you have as a local hardware store should have M3 screws, you're looking for probably 20mm but if they only have 30mm you can cut it down with a hacksaw, bolt cutters, angle grinder, etc...

    Iptorrent Invites

My wife tasked me with finding an old Nickelodeon series and it's not complete on IPT. Does anybody have a BTN invite? Or another private tracker that I might be able to try? I'll happily trade an IPT invite.

    Tube Reservoir Orientation Question

Thanks for pointing that out. This was just an example picture and not the one I was looking at. That one doesn't clearly show both sides ports simultaneously in one picture. G1/4 all the way for all of my selections. :-)

    Tube Reservoir Orientation Question

Thought so, just wanted to be sure. I've noticed lots of gimmicks used for anti vortex, or even waterfall features, but I immediately understood the reason for the small tube inside. I plan on having that on top and making sure my fluid is filled well above the rim to ensure aeration doesn't...

    Tube Reservoir Orientation Question

Finally have enough disposable income to justify the desire to do my first watercooled rig. Been researching, reading, verifying info, and then going back around again to make sure I don't waste my money on useless junk. One question that keeps rattling around is in reference to tube reservoir...

Old UPS batteries (APC SUA 1500)... where do you source them?

FWIW new UPS batteries are easily available from refurbups.com. I've gotten replacement batteries as well as refurbished UPSes from them and never had a problem. They even have a recycling program if you don't have one locally, just pay shipping. With pirateship being so cheap there's little...

Poll: To Rebuild or Not Rebuild?

As a person who regularly gets annoyed with himself over being a perfectionist, I wouldn't be able to walk away from this. If you can, great, but if that were my situation I'd rebuild or at least redesign. Most people, myself included, have more case fans they need and perhaps the overall best...

    Perpetual Free Steam Codes Thread

I got the recent Humble Bundle and here's the duplicates. In true Hunger Games fashion, may the odds be ever in your favor. Redeem on Steam, and please remember to post and say so if you claimed it. Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI 2N246-I2NMV-HRN8D Sid Meier's Civilization VI: Civilization &...

has anyone seen this kind of USB speed control fan comes in 200 mm

Unfortunately, not really. Some manufacturers say 6" above and 2" on the side, others are 8" on both, some don't list anything at all but we all know they need to breathe. None of these measurements are spec, just recommendations. I generally follow "more is better" but if I question it then I...
