Buying Another Fatal1ty AA8XE Just For Overclocking/Benching. Which P4 CPU?

I think you should try the Pentium D series, and see what you can do with them, they have potential for awsome OCing if you can cool those mothers...I have mine(2.8) running at 3.6 no problem, I went to 4.2 but idled at 77C.... and preformed very poorly...but with better cooling I know it could...

Need a dual core motherboard... recommendations?

Ok, I'd say if you wanted a SLI compatable board go with the Gigabyte one, or the ASUS P5ND2-SLI Deluxe. However, SLI, in my honest opinion, Isn't worth the money...I would suggest the P5WD2 Premium from Asus, it is a rocksolid board and has everything you could ever need and some. It actually...

Need help deciding Abit or Asus

Asus, because I must. However, I wil say Asus does a much better job with Intel compatable Mobos rather than AMD ones. I will say that every asus board I have ever used(intel and amd) has been rock solid, easy to over-clock, and yet extremely safe to do so because of the many steps they took...

Anyone else unable to leave their case alone?

I ordered my new computer in "stages" and ended up doing cable management every three-four days...if not redoing the whole thing... Now that I have it built, I am constantly in my case still and I used to do the stupidest thing each time....put the thumb screews back in...only to remove them...

    Which temp do I believe?

I would way go with the video card's reading, because it feeds direct data to the display properties from a thermometer of sorts inside the actual GPU. Plus, if you take the higher reading you're less likely to over heat anyways.
