    I have Eizo S2433W, Eizo FX2431 and a Dell U2410.

That is similar to my previous display, which used old A-MVA panel. From right side the image was stellar, however from left side it shifted even faster than C-PVA. It was extremely annoying, you just couldn't use it comfortably from front. And amusingly enough, it was a display recommended by...

If you display a pure black color on it, does the black glow purple when viewed from above?

To change smoothing you have to use a resolution smaller than native and let the display upscale.

IPS GLOW .......... how bad it really is?

That image is from his F2380 review :) They are from here, scroll down to the middle of page. You can also use the translation, the images however probably won't load if you click on them. Use the first link in that case.

BenQ new VW2420/EW2420 VA panel with LED backlight.

Awful viewing angles are evident in both reviews. They are definitely worse than cPVA. Even 1st gen AMVA panels performed much better here - just compare TFTCentral reviews of 24WMGX3 and EW2420. Looks like it is about as fast as original F2380. I was seriously considering EW2420 but after...

BenQ EW2420 A-MVA 3,000:1 ANSI Contrast LED Monitor Review

Thanks, I'm particularly interested in how they both handle 720p. On my 24WMGX3 800(&960)x600 and 720p are the only resolutions that look good upscaled.

BenQ EW2420 A-MVA 3,000:1 ANSI Contrast LED Monitor Review

NCX can you please check how is the scaler compared to say F2380? What scaling modes does the EW2420 have?

BenQ new VW2420/EW2420 VA panel with LED backlight.

Old AMVA panels in NEC 24WMGX and Benq 241 had also contrast ratio around 800:1... Hopefully that was just a mistake there :(

Fantastic. I was thinking about getting 2380MX, but I will hold off now.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Multiplayer Clip

This game is NOT made by Bioware. At least the Bioware you and others talk about. With the recent Mythic renaming I suspect EA will slowly rename most of their studios to Bioware :p Oh yeah gameplay looks awful, even worse than what I expected. It's no wonder they use CGI trailers so much.

Interesting. AUO produces only A-MVA (and TN) panels right?

AMD's ATI Radeon HD 5870 Video Card Review @ [H]

Regarding the SSAA bluriness I have found this @ PCGH 5870 review: There are also screenshots showing the difference between default and adjusted LOD. In another review there is a comparison between SSAA 2x/4x/8x modes on R870 and GT 200 in Oblivion and FEAR. Basically Ati SSAA(RGSSAA) mode is...
