i used roach's recommended settings on page one of this thread ... my brightness was set at 100 as well and looked crazy ... taking it down to 45 brightness and 76 contrast was a good move ... also use his color settings for red, green, and blue ... now i'm off to look at magictune. btw, i also...

quick question ... playing around with my new machine ... its a quadcore, 4 gigs of memory, windows vista 64-bit ... anyways, decided to open up device manager and i got an error on the first item which is "ATITool Utility" ... this is the device status: "Windows cannot load the device driver...

just got mine and setup to my new rig that i also just got. its sweet as hell. so, did anyone use any of the calibrations mentioned in this thread? if so, give me the settings ....

pg60, this solidifies on why i'm going to buy this monitor today. i also don't care if it is a TN-panel, as i'll be looking at this monitor straight on about 99.9% of the time. I got a 32" vizio for watching tv, etc ... so i'll be content with this monitor.
