Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hi Guys,
Not sure where the issues is.
If I connect my F3 HD samsung 1TB,
the fan on the PSU(Ultra X3 1000W) will not even spin.

It's very strange as soon I increase the speed of the ram from

Problem is I am mixing 2 different memories, 1 GB and 4GB per piece...
It makes sense sub.mesa. For swapfile I guess it's automatic. The OS takes care of everything. I guess it depends on how you use RamDisk, In my case I edit videos that
are 4GB in size so this maybe beneficial to me. There maybe other applications this may be useful.
I may shell out some cash and buy as many 8GB as possible.
This is very nice for HD editing.

I was thinking about building a cheap computer using DDR2 but got turned off with DDR2 prices.
They are about the same size and with a rebate you can get DDR3 for cheap.
Yeah it's not a good idea to use to store data. I'm thinking how I can use this to
speed up my After Effects editing. You know, use it only as a temporary files like scratch disk.
