Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Someone on Shacknews found this easter egg one last night:
When you are in the Museum of Technology there is a desk on the 1st or 2nd floor with the shacknews logo made out of pencils and a ball.
I guess there is a Lincoln shrine around D.C. somewhere as well.
The only ones I know of are the Savage series. I love the gameplay when everyone is working together but if you team has no clue what to do and the other team does it is very one sided and hard to come back from.
I was pretty frustrated in the driving mechanic as well. There was no way I was going to finish one of the quests with any of the pre-made vehicles because they all handle like crap.
It's not that the bad wheels make it hard it's just the driving mechanic is very rigid and almost all...
I would, and have. My dog ran through my play and charge kit and pulled my 360 out ruining my Mass Effect disc 10 minutes after I started playing for the first time. She went in the kennel and I went off to replace my copy.
I would get that 360 off you TV if it's pretty high up to prevent...
Depending on AMD's next chip I may go back to them. The price/performance ratio was really in Intel's court this round. It's the only time I've ever owned an Intel processor so I hope AMD comes back.
+1 TVersity will also transcode the files for you into a usable format for your 360.
You may also want to look into Winamp Remote/Orb for streaming. I've had a lot of good luck with both programs but TVersity is a little bit better these days.
I thought the co-op online was a lot of fun in the beta. It will get stale quickly once everyone figures out how to take out the enemies that are in the same spot every time. If the maps randomly generated enemies and turret placements it would be a lot more interesting in the long run.
Fallout is a game based on limitations and living with those limitations. It's a lot less fun being the super character in Fallout games. I know in FO1 they rewrote the script for really dumb characters so that was a new experience for those that wanted to do it.
I couldn't target body parts with my baseball bat it was just lighting up the whole body and I hoped I crippled an arm or something to disarm them.
I haven't tried it with a more finesse weapon like the combat knife though. I could have sworn Todd Howard targeted an enemies head with the...
I played and LOVED the first two games. That said I have been having a blast in FO3 so far and had to force myself to put it down last night at 2:30am.
I thought the graphics nailed the world pretty well, save for the NPCs, but Bethseda has never had good animations. The combat is alright...
I'm still in the Vault but it just 'feels' like a Fallout game so far. I can't wait to get out into the wastelands and start punching people in the face with a powerfist!
