Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks for the posts you two. Unfortunately explorer.exe wont even run at all. I open it, and it closes itself. I've tried running rstrui.exe from the cmd prompt, but I don't get the interface to use System Restore.
I boot from her XP Home cd, but it seems to almost time out and stop's...
Well a friend of mine recently ran into an issue with one of her computers at the office. It seems that the computer will boot up to the login screen; you type your password; and after a while it just shows your background and nothing else. (Desktop, taskbar, nothing loads.)
I have tried...
Can anyone who owns this monitor please post a few pictures showing how it displays Digital SD (Standard Def.) material? Unfortunately most of the stuff I watch is still in SD and I wanted to see if it displays that content well enough.
Do those of you who have this monitor mind posting a pic of the screen displaying a non-HD or SD channel(s)? I've been reading that this monitor tends to stretch the image a bit. Since I can't check out the monitor in person, I wanted to see how much of an issue this would be (since most of the...
Hey chuckts, is that last photo a video played off of the computer or a TV cable signal? I'm really interested in getting this monitor...the only thing holding me back is the need to see how it performs with cable/satellite. (Need this LCD to act as my monitor & room TV)
I'm currently debating the same screen (1080p Westy) as well as a few similarly priced Sharp's, Samsung's etc.
The Westinghouse seems the be the best bang for the buck, but of course that comes at a cost. (Trimmed off features several other LCD's have... EX: Tuner, etc.)
I'm just debating...
Anyone have any pics/experience with Xbox 360 on the Acer? I'm torn between the Dell and the Acer...and if the Acer looks just as good as the Dell (possibly better due to the lack of apparent banding)...well I think I know which I would choose.
I saw this monitor today at Office Depot (unfortunately they had it set on a lower/non-native res.), and I must say it seemed damn nice. (Colors, angles, etc. Looked similar to my current monitor.) Im currently using a Dell 2005fpw and was wondering if any of you who currently have the 215tw...
I'm currently using a P3 Toshiba Sat. lappy that quite frankly, does not cut it anymore. I need to run several graphics and design oriented programs (Photoshop/AutoCAD/etc.) for school. My current budget is ~$1500-1600. So with this budget I was looking at the two laptops I have listed in the...
Has anyone else noticed the jump in price for the 9400 on CompuDirect? Seems like the config i had a few weeks ago is going to cost me $300+ than what it did before. Anyone know any other places to pick one up for cheaper?
Lately I've been noticing while playing games, around the edge of the screen theres some streching issues. I am running the monitor in native res (1680X1050) yet I can see these brightly colored strech edges showing. (If I set the monitor to zoom in, it goes away, but then It starts eating my...
Everything seems to be pretty good.
When it comes down to case, its up to you really. Everyone has different tastes...so whatever you like, go for it. That Lian-Li is definitely a nice case, but I would probably settle with a cheaper case (Coolermaster Wave or Thermaltake Tsunami)...
