    Getting coldfeet about this build..

The 620W Corsair PSU was what I had originally picked out, but I got a bit nervous about dipping below the 650-700W level for this PC. I never have invested the time to fully understand/learn how much wattage I need, so I usually just guesstimate and hope for the best (been very lucky on my past...

    Getting coldfeet about this build..

I've never had so much indecision due to the nightmare stories I've been reading about on several forums. There are several things on my mind, but at the top of the list is obviously Vista-64 and its alleged driver/compatability saga. I've searched this forum and others for related threads/posts...

    soundloop crash problem

I'm thinking it's driver based as well... I'm going to try to reinstall the Audigy before I RMA it. Simply because I can't bring myself to believe it's a complete hardware problem with the card itself, because it works perfectly in everything but games. I'm just glad I atleast have the...

    soundloop crash problem

Took my audigy out and cleaned all the drivers out, then put this sad excuse for a soundcard in today. Was able to play BF2 for about an hour without any hiccups at all, so I guess the soundcard is shot.

    soundloop crash problem

Windows is up to date, everything is up to date. I downloaded DirectX9.0C from Microsoft and ran it, there was no repair option. It just said it was complete immediately, didn't look like it reinstalled anything to me. The soundloop occurs only in fullscreen games, it never has happened on...

    soundloop crash problem

DirectX 9.0C (4.09.0000.0904) is what I have installed. I was under the impression that you can't uninstall DirectX, but I'll download it and see if theres a repair option or something.

    soundloop crash problem

I've tried everything that comes to mind in an attempt to fix this problem that has just seemed to appear overnight on me. My pc that has been built and running perfectly fine for about 4 months now, has decided to start crashing on me while I play a pc game. It only happens while I'm inside of...

Best card for an XP 3200+?

I'd take a look at the eVGA 128MB 6800, it's $283 on newegg. I've only seen 1 real review on this card, and it wasn't by a known PC reviewing site. Maybe somebody on these boards can shed some light on this card, as it seems to be a nice option for people who don't want to get a GT/Ultra.

    710T, vinny77 was right ?

Why is it always these people who can't even speak English who have problems with products? Is this just a coincidence, or am I missing something here?

    Just got my 710T!! :-D

Vinny you're a raving lunatic. You act like you have bionic eyes that can sense the slightest difference in monitors. I read your other pointless blather posts about motion blurring in Counter-Strike. It's only fitting that an ignoramous as large as yourself plays one of the dumbest and most...
