Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have a Seasonic X650 I used for a week before upgrading to a X850. Comes with the box, cables, pouch, everything. I'll do $80 shipped if you're interested.
Is it? Because you're the end-all be-all authority on the subject? LOL! Looks to me like some fanboy koolaid came with that shiny new 780ti you purchased and you drank it all down. And now you're so Nvidia-proud you gotta tell us all how much AMD sucks.
Nobody is denying the fact that the stock cooler sucks. So wait a couple weeks and get a card for a few dollars more that has a great cooler. Or...keep on with the dead horse beating and bitching that threads like these are all about. It seems to suit a lot of you anyway. You guys probably have...
Says the guy that just bought a 780ti and feels the need to enter the AMD section purely to criticize their newest cards. You fly a green flag now. Better make sure the red camp now knows how you feel. Go you!
So is everybody going to stop bitching when 3rd party cards come out with a $50-$60 premium with more effective coolers? The price will still be extremely attractive, and the heat/noise issues should be fixed. Or will the Nvidia fanboys just find something else to whine about?
Common issue, probably due to the clocks being so low during browsing or general use. I'm surprised you see this during gaming, as most people don't have that issue when the GPU load is ramped up and clocks raised during a game.
Read this thread and particularly watch the youtube video linked...
I should have taken a pic of the BSOD, but didn't. I did notice it said something about graphics drivers though. I guess if it does it again, I'll reproduce the issue and grab a pic so that I can look up the error code.
I've been running the 13.9 drivers since I built this PC (specs in sig). With all the new betas coming out, I wanted to try them, however, I've been having an issue with all of them upon install. Everytime I try to do a clean install by uninstalling the old drivers using AMD's catalyst...
My setup does that, along with a lot of other people that run similar cards. Though I've never had mine black out for seconds. While browsing I just get the line flickers once in a while if I scroll down with the mouse wheel. Kind of annoying, but not enough to really bother me. Just enough to...
ROFL
If I could like posts, I would give this one a thumbs up.
Looks like all the usual suspects came out for this thread. "OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG I LOVE MY BRAND. IT'S THE BEST BRAND. NO OTHER BRAND IS BETTER. I LOVE IT LIKE IT'S MY CHILD OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!1111"
I'm still on the 13.9 drivers. I tried to install the new beta drivers six times now, but my rig keeps BSODing right before the Windows login screen. :(
