    Swap my 780 for a 290X?

    This is a good point, the stock cooler OC comparison gives the 780 an edge. But for an underwater comparison, might be a different result. 290x seems to have a higher thermal profile, and the max potential OC might have been thermal walled in a large way. Someone needs to conduct this benchmark!
