Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hi, since no one has posted I will jump in. Don't buy either of those, the Samsung changed chipsets recently and can't do 4:4:4 anymore, the Vizio never could. here is a post that I just made to another thread:
I believe the best you can do for a 4k 4:4:4 gaming screen right now is...
I believe the best you can do for a 4k 4:4:4 gaming screen right now is Panasonic's AX800 series. They include both displayport and hdmi 2.0 inputs that will handle 4:4:4 @ 60Hz so you don't HAVE to have a GTX 900 series card like other TVs. Input lag has been measured around 37ms which is the...
Ha, if you are trying witcher 2 and it's playing fine then you are definitely not at 11 :). With ubersampling turned on (have to set it manually using the config util or .ini file) a single card @ 1080p will push less than 40fps and generally hits around 30-35. I highly recommend you try it in...
To be fair I'm not sure it's a clocking issue. Even when I forced the clock to not drop below 1005Mhz I still had the same problem, the utilization just went down to compensate for the higher clocks . I still think it's a bug though I'm open to being proven wrong.
That is a good question, I don't really know. I have over 120 mods installed based on a document I downloaded (can't remember what it's called). They are all supposed to work together (and they do) but I quickly hit the 1.2GB ram limit on my card (lots of texture mods I believe). The game...
Yeah, especially since it is controlled via software (correct me if I'm wrong). That's why I'm hoping my findings are just a result of a version 1.0 product that will be ironed out over time. My guess is their next gen hardware (or maybe just a new driver) will have everything working perfectly.
The more I use the card the more I like the feature. I played rage for a few minutes to see what happened and the gpu tracked properly while keeping the framerate at 60 (which is what rage does no matter what). GPU utilization was well below 50% as was the power budget. Wall power was down...
As Xeth pointed out there is an option to prefer performance. Once I selected that the card clock stayed pegged but the utilization fell so that the framerate stayed at 30 or so fps... Very odd behavior in my opinion. Hopefully they will fix it in a driver release, barring the major drops in...
Brilliant idea, I had forgotten about that option. Now the gpu clock stays pegged at 1005Mhz in the solitude palace but the gpu usage just goes down to 38% @ 30fps... Ah well.
Hi folks, I've been playing with my new 680 for a couple days and have found what I hope is a glitch, let me know if anyone else has experienced this. For some background I'm running a 4.5Ghz 2600k and the 680 just replaced two 570s. I'm also using a 120hz lcd so I've been testing both in 3d @...
I bet your system is no longer a space heater as well! My power draw fell from a max of 650W to around 300 while averaging much less. These are VERY efficient cards compared to the last gen.
Hi, I just got rid of two 570s in sli (pretty comparable to a 590) for a single 680 and can say that the two 570s were noticeably faster. Not in all situations but I wouldn't make the trade unless you were going to go sli at some point.
Hi, I just got rid of my two gtx 570s for a single 680. I did it because I was overloading the vram with too many oblivion mods, sure enough it no longer has massive stuttering issues. The overall frame rates are lower though, I will be purchasing a second 680 soon. I can say that two 570s...
