    without overclocking, i would say your crysis fps is normal. its just a super-hog. bench any other newer game and make yourself feel better. :P

    I having the same debate, but i really think it comes down to monitor size. If you are 1440x900 like me, then single 8800gt will last a while. If you are 1920x1200, then i would sli. I plan on using sli if/when i upgrade my monitor.

    i dont think the prices will drop due to the GX2, but rather continue to drop slowly. Wow Geforce 2 amid all that other nice equipment? you dont game much do you lol? I would consider a 8800gt or 9600gt unless your monitor is more than 20"widescreen.

    not sure, but sounds like the card malfunctioning. try a different video card in that box, or the same card in a different box.
