still runs doom 2016 over 170 FPS on ultra with an old R9 290 also under clocked 850:800 900ma
all cores 1.2ghz @ 100% load ... aiming for 800 mhz and still does 4ghz single thread average load runs at 2.4ghz

all I can say is I am now having a return of bad Hdd's that have not been this bad since maybe 10 yrs ago ( they were WD and around 200 gig capacity and died with in first day )

I like the sound of less power and files being recoverable if drives fail past redundancy
just about to see how it goes with ubuntu / btrfs

I ended up buying an OCZ RevoDrive for my Boot OS
and I will use the i-RAM drive for my HDD ZFS system
knocking down the amount of ZFS cache helped free up memory for tmpfs
more RAM would mean 16 gig sticks .... I have not seen such beast with-out being ecc :P
I run a lot of Virtual PC's RAM disappears quickly
that and www'ing chews up heaps of memory .. I can easily get 4 gig's worth of web pages up per browser ( opera / FF / Chrome )
but using RAM instead...
