The third one is pretty much the same plus has a lot of backlight leakage.
I have ordered one from Amazon. I really hope it is OK. If not, what else shall I look at?
Any chance I can get a new backlight bulb for my old Dell 2005FP? It was rock-solid from day one for over 6 years.
Can anyone else with a U2412M Mfg. Date of May 2012 tell me their serial number?
I have returned the second one to the store and got a third. (Maybe the third time's the charm?!) I am not optimistic though because all 7 units they have (had) in stock are from the same shipment and all have...
Well, that tells us at least that not all units made in May are bad.
What is your serial number?
Mine are CN0M2GCR7426125N 11UL (the first one) & 126L (this one)
Thanks Jeffredo,
I know, this is very strange. And to have 2 units with exactly the same issue?!
I have tried it on a different computer with the same result, so it is not the video card.
I went into the service screen and tweaked the 6500k preset to actually be 6500k. The factory...
I just bought a U2412M from a local store to replace my old 2005FPW from 2006.
I had to return the first one due to a pronounced greenish cast on all presets. This is not spotty tinting, it is overall and even.
The second one from the same store (and close in serial number to the first) has...
OK, thanks.
Understood now that Aida64 is the only app that can fully stress one core at a time.
I have not tried your stepped core scheme yet so that makes sense as well.

Thanks for the guide HardLuck,
But whenever I try these single core tests, the work is spread out among all the threads. I assume this is due to Hyperthreading.
So I assume you have Hyperthreading turned off then?
If so, wouldn't the advantages or hyperthreading be greater than the extra .3...
I don't mind at all.
Interesting. I found that the voltage was spiking higher than it needed to with Offset on "Auto".
Maybe it has something to do with your having the EPU enabled?

Hi,
I'm all swapped out now with the new Rev. B3 Deluxe (Thank You ASUS!) and I took the opportunity to upgrade to a new Zalman 9900 Max cooler and Seasonic X-660 power supply. (--great price on the PS from MC by the way)
The new board came with the 1305 BIOS.
Below are my current settings...
I now have the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro v2 but it is disappointing. The original Freezer 7 Pro worked well with the Core2 Duo but it is not enough for the 2600k when OC'ing even modestly
I picked up a Zalman CNPS 9900 Max locally and it is waiting for the MB swap from ASUS to arrive...
I'm using this motherboard swap as an opportunity to improve my system.
I have a new (better) cooler ready to go as well as a new power supply. (picked up the new Seasonic X-660 at Micro Center for a really good price.)
So I'll end up with the new MB with the all-good SATA ports, greater...
I have the P8P67 Deluxe. The Audiofire 2 is working just fine on the onboard firewire port with the latest Echo drivers.
Not sure what you mean by "6308P or 6315?".
No dropouts or crackling at all. The only issue is that every once in a while after the computer has been idle for a while, I...
