Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
This. You might feel grindy if you are focusing on hearts or leveling. However, if you just play the game, it isn't very grindy at all. I played for quite a while while completely ignoring the personal story. The game lets you do that. This is one of those games that can be, to an extent...
Agreed. Ele is a definite for me, but I am having difficulty deciding on what other professions to choose. They all have interesting points, and none of the professions have qualities that absolutely rule them out for me. This is a good thing!
I may be misinterpreting, the NVIDIA rep and others on the NVIDIA forum had a long back-and-forth on this. The terms BIOS and VBIOS were being applied to this issue. I assumed the VBIOS was a section of the system BIOS.
I outlined my frustration trying to install a GTX 670 in my Dell XPS 8300 here: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1696853. The system has been modified quite a bit, but I'm am still using the original mobo.
Apparenlty the XPS 8300's are now d/c'd, (not too long ago, I might add), and...
I just got my 'special attention' service from MSI. The guy asked me all questions that the answers to were in the initial e-mail I sent him (so he didn't even read it I guess). Then he said it must be the mobo or bios. I have an H67 mobo, with the current bios. Anyone else have this set-up...
I just ordered the EVGA FTW card. Apparently it is on the 680 board, not the same board used for the 670. I'm hoping the change in mfr and board will lead to success.
wtourist - I attempted install both with and without driversweeper removing Catalyst software. No change either way. The system would not even boot up properly with the card installed. IDK, but is that more indicative of a hardware or software issue?
FM_Fizzxer - No on-board DVI port. I...
I was really hoping to get a 670, and I am leaning towardss the OC being part of the issue as well. I may just get a plain vanilla non-OC version and see how it goes.
I tried two Power Supplies already, and did play with Bios settings (BIOS version is current, and there's only one Graphics option in there anyway). Your suggestions are all the right things I guess, just really wierd that none of the 'typical' solutions seem to address the problem...
It does sound like a power issue. However, I assure you that I could not have messed up plugging in the power connectors every time I re-installed the card. (Push in and hear/feel the 'click.' :) ) Both MSI cards were in and out several times. Also, the old card worked perfectly every time I...
I had been waiting for the 670 to come out and jumped on one as soon as I could. I got the MSI OC version and was really looking forward to it. However, when I intalled the card, all I could get was a black screen and my monitor indicated it was receiving no signal. That card was RMA's, but...
