    I have the UCP 900 and am running a I7 920 overclocked to 3.8 Ghz with 2 SLI-ed GTX260-216, 2HD and 8 fans without any problems. It's quiet and powerful. I like it.

    What temps do you get on the northbridge? Mine go just over 60c when stressing my 260-216 SLI on that board, if you have a ventilation problem it might be your northbridge that messes things up.

    Noise level differences between the various gtx 200 models

    How do you like the 2x 285? i was thinking of stepping up to them myself in the next few weeks. Do you notice any improvement over the 260 (i dont know if you had 260SLi before). Btw what are your northbridge temps when gaming? mine go up to 61 degrees if both 260's are working hard.

    I kinda doubt SFR will do any good in GTA but if i have time I'll try it out for ya. IIRC AFR does nothing to your available memory: it's identical to using a single card.

    Evga GTX 285 SSC vs Evga GTX 295 for 2560x1600?

    I've got a 30" dell 3008 and 2 Evga 260-216 Sli-ed and the only game i have problems with the memory is GTA IV which doesn't allow me to use high texture quality because it needs 1GB of on board memory at that resolution. I would think more games in future will use bigger textures and bigger...

    According to Rockstar SLI currently does NOT work in GTA IV. Can you guys confirm this? I can tell you that SLIed 260-216's are not allowed anything over medium texture quality on a 30". It seems you need 1 GB or more of memory for those high resolutions and high quality textures.

    Got my 295

    Try running it on a 30" ;). It won't even allow me to set texture quality above medium and I've got SLI-ed 260-216's. I guess GTA wants 1 GB memory at that resolution for high texture quality ...... bummer . Guess I'll be stepping up to 285's in 2 weeks :D
