Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
sorry i was on phone i forgot to mention how to check whether it's 24 or 32nm.. just check S/N or rear box numbers,
12XX > new 24nm, 11XX> old 32nm.. i dont think you can find any PP w 32nm on retail anymore.. last two numbers on box and drive may differs one or two digits but manufacturing...
2012 manufactured PP's are 24nm.. The sample of [H] is 44th week 2011 and packed w 32nm NANDs.. While older and newer shares same name newer is a bit faster and consumes half of older.. Anand's and Hardwaresecrets samples were 24nm.. More info...
not sure why posted that message.. 1300W AC = ~1180W DC @91% efficiency
that power supply is rated 89+% on 110V AC, and even more on 220V AC hence it's 80 Plus platinum..

130% power(1300W DC) and still maintain 92% efficiency on 220V
3 x MSI 7970 @ 1100MHz core / 1500MHz Rams, Cpu Intel Core i7 3930k @4.8GHz, 4x4GB Gskill 2400MHZ, SSD Corsair GT 120GB
pulling 1300W from wall, its around 1190W DC power(furmark+prime95)..gaming or folding shouldnt require that much juice.. Psu is Seasonic platinum 1kW...
AX850 is an old build Seasonic.. They upgraded it with 2nd gen X860 and most recent 3rd gen 860XP.. Not sure why'd you pick previous previous revision over Seasonic.. In addition to that Seasonic uses Sanyo Denki fan which is superior
Sorry for bump.. Great psu and a great review as always..
I just received one and have a comparison to my old psu.. My current system doesnt repuire that much power but it will be updated in time.. The ac/dc efficiency itself is enough actually..
It's measured from wall socket and only Case...
