Personally don't bother getting it for this setup. I'm using the Z-5500 with this card, and you'll have to go optical connection only which bypasses the opamps (the one and only difference between Titanium HD and X-Fi Titanium). In addition I'm not sure if the Z-5500 can handle better than what...- malware

Thank you, I'm aware of that, but bought the opamps and changed them before going to the conclusion that I'm unable to use the analog output for 5.1 surround with this card. My biggest concern is that I can't hear my rear speakers no matter what I do. As far as I'm aware the two JRC2114 opamps...- malware

Z5500 or X-FI Problem?
It's more of a software problem. What codecs do you use? Have you tried to adjust your AC3 filter setting of voice, surround and LFE?- malware
