Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Possibly yeah.. I am really not sure. I am trying to find a friend who can bring a monitor over, I don't have a spare right now. It also might start happening with the HDMI port.. I am just hoping it's not the DVI out on the video cards..
Either way, I can't wait for the new G-Sync Monitors to...
So I plugged in my TV by HDMI and duplicated displays.. it was occurring on my monitor thru DVI-D but not my TV on HDMI. Then I plugged in HDMi to my monitor... and it went away (wasn't allowed to go past 60hz).. then I re-plugged in DVI-D to my monitor to test and it was gone again.. The...
Maybe.. if it is artifacting and doesn't show up on print screen it may still not show because the artifacts are past the process for screenshotting, but yeah.. it makes me think it might not be the cards.
Come to think of it I think my monitor takes HDMI, I should just try the hdmi cable I have lying around. Damn.. good idea! :D Problem with that is it won't do 120hz@1080 will it? I am not sure if that is a limitation of the card HDMI spec or the HDMI cable itself..
I've been exclusively using DVI-D because I have a 120hz monitor. I ordered another dvi-d cable. I haven't tried swapping to or HDMI.
It started about a month ago.. very lightly while watching downloaded episodes of Vikings. It would just appear as cel-shaded areas of green lines around...
It isn't the drivers. I have done DDU and installed a few driver sets. The flashes occur on windows shutdown.. which maybe still include drivers..I have done full reinstalls of the newest 337.50 and back to old 318 drivers cleanly.
I have the cards well underclocked right now, I've had them...
I have tried 3 different drivers.. seems to be uniform. I had installed drivers relatively recently before it started happening..but I installed old ones.. and then the newest ones and neither changed it.
I checked the rail voltages in the BIOS, they are rock solid. Sorry I forgot to put in my PSU is a Corsair TX750, and the voltages are spot on..

I would have guessed it was the RAM being bad but you said the "clean" stick is running solo now and still working. You should try running that RAM in someone else's working system to see if that's the issue.. if that ram runs fine and nothing is wrong, then it would end up being the mobo.
