Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
@joecop120 The minimum post count is 50, and I have more than that.
@peanuthead I saw that, thank you for the offer, but I am looking for 6 or greater, and $250 is a little bit high for what I need. I wouldn't feel fair offering you what I want to pay for your 1TB drives.
I had the issue at my University, and there was a setting in wicd, that basically told it to use the same authenticate with all networks using the same SSID even if they had difference BSSID (MAC) addresses.
Seemed to work fine for me.
What network manager are you using?
Do you have any other hard drives installed in the system at either point?
If so, it could be that your MBR is being installed on the wrong disk requiring a startup repair.
I use an ODAC and an Objective 2 headphone amp. That seems to work pretty well, and there are qualified tests with lab grade hardware.
They will set you back about $300 though.
I wouldn't do it, just because power supply issues are hard to troubleshoot.
Get a new higher wattage supply and forget about it. If you are worried about cost, re-coop some on your old one by selling it in the BST forum.
