    I believe I used a Furniture Paint - it does have a couple Nicks and such in the paint but I have also used the desk for 4 or 5 Years now. I think it has Held up very well. And Painted it has a very nice surface feel.

    Built it myself out of MDF used Ikea Desk Legs. Actually Not to hard to do with a Jigsaw. Less then $20 for the Sheet of MDF, $5 x6 = $30 For the Legs, $5 for a can of Paint. So like $55 for a Desk :)
