    yes they are connected to SATA III but in RAID0. Never tried the M4 without RAID0 so I can't really say i regret not having TRIM.

    Just ran the benchmarks to compare. I'm running two 64GB M4's in RAID0 (Intel on board raid controller). We can't really compare the results directly Make sure your running the latest M4 firmware as well, the 128GB might have old firmware and the 256GB came with the latest.

    i've got the 500R and very happy with it! The only drawback is the case fan controler and the corsairs fans have dedicated connectors. Some modification needed if you would want to replace those fans.

    Want to upgrade to a mechanical keyboard and a new mouse...

    I am very happy with my mionix zibal 60. The backlight keys are not overly bright. So its not a distraction It's a standard keyboard with no macro keys and uses cherry mx blacks. I use my left hand for mouse so I'm limited. But the razer mamba 2012 edition looks and feels very nice. Too bad...
