i have it at 2.85vdimm right now. i could play games like doom3 and farcry. but when i bench it on sandra, especially on the unbuffered test, it causes my system to reboot. using memtest gives me loooooooads of errors. dang...... tried memtest @ stock FSB of 133 and works perfectly. running...

hmmm i do have some old NICs somewhere, and a soldering gun too :D i'll prep myself up for that droop mod...
one thing though, i checked the inside of my case while the system was running and i found the NB to be very hot.. do you think this might be an issue? i could barely touch the...
ran memtest and the ultra plats are perfect. my PSU is a task 450w, with 26A rating for the 12v rail. im ruling out the PSU and memory.. that leaves me with the droop mod :(
seeing the vcore drop form 1.54 to 1.52 to 1.48 in a matter of 4secs almost made me fall off my chair. most of the...
i monitored my vcore thru cpuz while running prime95.
readings drop to 1.488v occasionally! highest at 1.52v that is with prime95 on
while surfing and stuff, i get 1.55v
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
do you think i'd kill my cpu setting vcore @ 1.7? idle temps are at 38c both mobo and mbm.. load at 43 when AC is off, 39-40 if ACC is on.
i could complete test 1 of prime95, but test 2 is a different story. :(
thanks man, you're a lifesaver :D
btw, would it help if i set my vcore to 1.7 without doing the mod? im thinking since setting it above 1.6vcore causes the approx .1v fluctuation, setting the vcore at 1.7 would set the vcore to 1.6ish? :p
