Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I recommend waiting till after september 20th. There has been some talk of possible updates, even to the Mini (yes I know we've seen recent updates to the mini but they were basically non-updates designed to stimulate short term sales..). There might be a small update shortly before the show and...
yes.. one screen I was able to find in this form factor is the Acer AL2032WD .. Here's some store links to get an idea of pricing:

Well, if you have the kind of system to drive a dual 2405 setup, then it's likely that you can safely consider the added resources "negligible". I've never seen it cause much of an added load on any of my systems to add any number of displays anyway, and you're probably running a comfortable...
The specs say the panel only has 1336 x 768 pixels, and I'm inclined to believe that. Anything else is just filtering and scaling.
This screen is obviously unable to display not only 1600x1200, but 1080i in native unscaled mode.
I hook up my 2005FPW to a powerbook from time to time even though it is usually hooked up to a dell i8600 (through analog VGA...... puke).
It's amazing how much BETTER use of space OS X makes of 1680x1050 than windows. It feels a lot more roomy and appropriate, aesthetically, in every way.
And to answer in another fashion altogether (probably in the way the OT meant):
because a lot of people that set their CRTs to 1280x1024 have absolutely no idea that's not the right resolution to set them to.
:D
I consider the first three to be more in the cheese category and probably won't stand up to the test of time.
The super LANBoy is pretty sweet. I've got one, and you can certainly do a lot with it.
But I like the Lian Li v1200 as well. If I were to pick a top choice it would be that one...
Yep, same thing happened to me also.
Those fasteners suck ass and don't really do much, but the case is pretty good and I didn't have any problems with vibration. Most the vibration came from the pump I have in there.
PBP - picture beside picture.
Hmmm widescreen + PBP + cheap .. what screen could THAT be ? ;)
I think I'll let someone else answer this one, I'm tired of being a cheerleader for the 2005FPW ... oops
:D
Yeesh.. okay.
So we're supposed to make high accuracy judgement of color and gradient reproduction on a screen based on COMPRESSED VIDEO? Have we lost our minds, people? :)
How about somebody post some non-lossy pictures of gradients in PNG format and we can bench quality...
You do not have to be a videophile to see the effects of VGA vs. DVI
You need to use a higher resolution screen before you can really see the effects. It's easier to get a cleaner signal on lower resolutions.
