you were right, but there has been rumors of problems with nforce 4 boards not being able to reach 1000mhz HTT. idk what htt the alienwares run at, but im assuming its 1000
hmm i cant even get into memtest, it goes to a blue screen that flashes on in the middle very quickly. i tested the floppy in a different computer and it worked. now im thinking its the processor because i pulled it out of a system that had a psu failure and screwed up the motherboard...
it will boot from floppy, but when i choose to start from cd(win 98 startup disk) itll list a few drivers and aspi managers then itll do nothing... im really confused :confused:

i recently bought and installed an Abit NF7-S and im having a problem, after it posts and says verifying dmi pool... it just goes to a black screen. Also, when i try and boot from a cd or floppy it doesnt work. it will either freeze halfway through or just do nothing...
