    SilverStone SG07 - New Mini-itx case

I just built a SG07 rig with an Asrock H67M-ITX/HT. I too get slight distortions from the front Headphones jack. Did not try disconnecting the USB cable. I need those front ports as well. Lack of proper shielding could be the problem. What do you think?

Seagate Barracuda ST3500630AS undetectabe Win7 Install

I have a Asus P5E-VM HDMI board. I am installing a brand new Sata2 Seagate Barracuda ST3500630AS 500Gb hdd. The problem? Bios detects the HDD, but Win7 Ultimate x64 Install does not. Even if I load the sata drivers. Change Sata ports. However once I slap the HDD in an external...

Asus P5E-VM HDMI: best matx ever?

Does the Asus P5E-VM-HDMI support after Bios updates: 2x4Gb DDR2-800 Dimms? 4x2Gb DDR2-800 Dimms? (I think this should work) 4x4Gb DDR2-800 Dimms?? The motherboard manual states a Max of 8Gb of Ram with 2Gb per Dimm slot.

Asus P5E-VM HDMI: best matx ever?

I have this board with the 405 bios. The problem I am facing is that no matter what OS, the HDD sometimes powers down. I dont know if this is a PSU issue or a motherboard Issue. It cannot be an OS issue, as this sometimes happens randomly even at boot. Sometimes while I am in the middle of...

    E8400 Temps Question

According to the Coretemp Author: Intel defines a certain Tjunction temperature for the processor. In the case of Yonah it is 85C° or 100C°. First of all the program reads from a Model Specific Register (or MSR), and [i]detects the Tjunction temperature. A different MSR contains the temperature...

    E8400 Temps Question

I do not have a problem with Load Temps. They average around 53C on Stock Intel cooler at Stock settings. The problem is that Idle NEVER goes below 45C. It seems like it'll never drop even if you used Liquid Nitrogen! :P

    E8400 Temps Question
