kasakka - can you let me know what desk mount you used previously? I have a deep, custom-made butcher block desk and the TV on stand is just right for distance, but I'd like to get the TV off the desk (for potentially putting a sound bar beneath it at some point).

No need to apologize! It's confusing from that page for sure.. Go to this link: https://github.com/hunkydoryrepair/MonitorKeeper/releases From there you can download the executable directly by expanding the 'Assets' dropdown.

Obsessive in what way? Like wanting more control over things monitor related? That's understandable. Personally I like to use the minimal amount of stuff/resources to do what I want. I always read about DisplayFusion, but then when I would dig into the reviews, I found that it was either quite...

I'm using the CX with DisplayPort monitors and had the same issue. I resolved it by using a tiny app called MonitorKeeper. Has worked great for me.

Not game related, but these videos blew my mind and really show off the CX 48. Apologies if they've already been posted. Watch in 4k HDR!

This is going to sound crazy, but will you guys game at 2560x1440 even after the HDMI2.1 cards are released? Before I got my 48CX, I thought "gaming at 1440p is going to look like complete garbage", but when I tried it (out of necessity), I found that not only did the games look great, but being...

What worked for me was changing the the port you have your PC plugged into to "PC".. You can do this by: hitting the home button on your magic remote in the upper-right corner of the screen click on the settings (gear) button click "Edit" click on the icon to the left of the text label of the...

With the latest OLED technology, I think that as long as you're using the set in a varied manner and taking some basic precautions, you should never have any issues with burn-in unless you have some sort of lemon. hide taskbar (use buttery taskbar to COMPLETELY remove it (ie, also get rid of...

So wait, is BFI "superior" to GSYNC while gaming? I noticed this the other night while tinkering--that I can't enable OLED Motion Pro while GSYNC is active.. But GSYNC is so nice that I kind of don't want to disable it 😆

So you would use OLED light to 40 even on HDR content? Right now I have my OLED light set to 40 when I'm just working / browsing the web and such in SDR.. But if I go to game or watch HDR content, I'll switch to an HDR profile that uses 100 OLED light as it seems like that's what the display...

Appreciate the heads up on this! I'll probably wait until there are people in the wild with the same setup to see if it works out. It's not integral that I get it off the desk, but was planning on putting a soundbar underneath it, which would require it be lifted up.

My plan was to get the Ergotron HX with the VESA bracket adapter kit to support the 300x200mm mount on the CX48... It seems like it's well within the weight capacity, so I'm surprised it would sag? The HX is rated for 42lb, and the CX48 without stand is 32.8 pounds.

Got my 48CX yesterday and have it connected to my PC (2080Ti).. Thing is absolutely nutty! It's my first OLED (and first time above 60hz).. 1440p 120hz G-SYNC + HDR gaming is incredible.. Can't wait for HDMI2.1 so I can do the same, but at 4k!
