    B Router + Antenna more range than D-Link Extreme N?

    N isn't perfected yet so it may get better. If you really want a cheap solution that will get you more range. Get a Buffalo router (have seen for like 25 bucks here on [H]) and load it with the DD-WRT firmware. The range you will receive is pretty friggin far.
