For the general consumer yes 25mm standard, in servers or other markets? not always.
I love their fans, I have 14 of them in my case 10 on radiators, and I'm more about the performance of them rather than the look.
Do you run just one nic? The cool thing about some NAS boxes is they run a teamed NIC, so you use both ports. You could buy a dual port NIC 1gb, and set up NIC teaming essentially getting double the bandwidth to the computer.
I love building a PC, but in all honesty it's not for everyone. I build them as a hobby and I get a lot more bells and whistles that way. If you're on a strict budget and it does what you need, then get a pre-built system. You may get bashed, but hey it's your money, save the extra dough and...
I'm just going with the F*** it approach, I'll spend a few grand on ETH now and just hope that I get something out of it when I retire from the military.
Well here I am sitting with my i7-4770, looking to upgrade to the i9-7900x....been waiting for this x299 chips regardless. I'm tired of waiting an will probably just get the 7900x, money isn't the issue.
hahahaha.
I did at one point have UV lighting on my UV reactive cables back 15 years ago, but nowadays I just want more functional over pretty colors. To me the RGB craze as of late just reminds me of the underglow craze on cars, just funny. Neat concept, I just have no need for it.
I had two 680's in SLI but when I bought the PG348Q I needed something stronger. Had a buddy get two Titan XP's and gave me his 980 Ti as a loaner, if the cost vs benefit for a Titan XP is still better then I'll swing for that. I just hope it's worth it's hype.
You can't really blame a company for your negligence and not paying attention. I just bought two Nemesis GTS 360mm's (push only) for my new build, they're just going to cool my video cards, I went with a Nemesis GTX 280 for my (push and pull) CPU/MOBO/Vreg cooler. If you want SR2 performance...
Well they used to be above the CPU to be used as a source of vacuum for the cpu heat, I'm guessing since PSU creates some heat it's better to be near the area that may or may not have an expansion card.
I think U.2 will catch on more, m.2 I think will still be there but may just focus on being a OS drive. PCI-E and U.2 will most likely be more of the future.
I do know that some of their smaller cases just came back into the market, and they focused a lot on the swap-able parts for all the cases for a bit.
I just called today because I wanted a S8 case, but they told me they couldn't even come up with a availability when they were going to have...
I think the sound track fit perfectly, I really enjoyed it. There are times where I wish I could just enjoy the instrumental portion of heavy/hard rock, like when driving on that long road by yourself barreling through the turns. I bought it and will be listening to it for some time!
