Can we get a better thread title? Should be an edit (title) button somewhere, but if not maybe report the post and include the title you would like in the note.

You can see it with the naked eye! Granted it's just a spot but people take picts of it all the time with telescopes.

Given that physical media demand seems to be on the rise again, I'm hoping for many more years of bluray releases (and physical Nintendo games).

Sony sold that off years ago and I left them in 2006.

Does he also maintain that? How much life do BD's have left? (Side note, I was a Process Engineer at Sony that developed such)

I currently do, but that's not going to be an option for much longer, plus the MakeMKV author has been on hiatus with no explanation, might be drying up fast. Soon we're likely to have no option.

That appears to be DRMed/proprietary.

Id say if I have the physical disc, torrenting a remux is faster, in my case I did pick up an Asus external drive (lg 5.25 drive) for $80 on fb marketplace, just for the “hard to find online” media

Wish we could just buy MKV equiv downloads. Charge me $50 each, don't care, i hate ripping takes forever.

Hi Mad Maxx, Seasonic Support Team here. Sorry about the failure; that's not the experience we want anyone to have. If not yet done, please open an RMA through our support portal and mention this thread...

tandy 1000 RL iirc

Let's see the proper benchmarks doing agentic work where pre-fill is what matter most before we crown a king. I mean we know the YouTube reviewers will do their classic, use a 5 token input asking for a 1000 token output, as usual.

yes could have been released in 2024 hardware tech by now Spark. 1.2 TB/s on the highest end is now finnaly above a single RTX 3090/4090 territory, if their pre-fill machine is competent it could be quite good.

Looks like the just announced M5 Ultra is going to really date the Spark like products.
