    Yikes... 7950 is really getting thrashed here. It's strange that the 7970 GHZ is on par with the 680 while the 7950 Boost gets completely demolished by the 670. I hope performance will improve significantly with future drivers.

    I just looked at my hard drive's SMART data at HDDstatus.com. The current spin up time value is 123, but raw is 5,311,303. I don't really know how to interpret that information, but its rating is by far the lowest of every attribute...

    Do you think it's likely for the CPU or hard drive to be damaged if they both pass diagnostic tests? I'd like to think that at least one of my power supplies is functioning properly, and the stuttering is there with either of the power supplies.

    No, I've switched to the integrated video on my motherboard. I've tried this Nvidia integrated GPU, a more advanced AMD integrated GPU, as well as the 5750, and the stuttering is always there. It doesn't seem to show up in FRAPS benchmarks though.

    No, I don't think so. Aside from basic operating system processes, there's just Avast anti-virus, which I've disabled before while playing games. In any case, the visual flickering I've described is always present, no matter which GPU (5750 or integrated), power supply, or motherboard I've used.
