    Just got my Sandy Bridge replacement mobo

    If it is the same mobo, I wouldn't see why you would need to reload drivers or reformat. I have swapped motherboards before without reloading windows.

    I have had a similar problem before. I use to have to unplug most of my usb devices and sometimes a few harddrives to get it to post.

    Make digital picture frames out of them and give them away or keep them. There area a few sites that describe the process.
