Jet - ASUS GTX 1080 Turbo $581 shipped

How is it Nvidia's fault that 3rd party card makers are charging over they stated MSRP?

need 27 inch monitor, is gsync worth it

Yeah the dell looks like the one to get. It was on sale the other day and I missed it so I suppose I need to wait until it does again. Everything else is way more expensive and even then there is no real guarantee it's going to be any better than the dell. As for the IPS monitors in the price...

need 27 inch monitor, is gsync worth it

Im going to be upgrading to a 1070 when it comes out. Im currently using a 27 inch Asus and Ive had no issues with it. Problem is its 1080p and only 60 Hz. I want to move up to 1440p and as close to 144 hz as I can get. So Im looking for a new monitor. TN panels are ok as long as the have...

    Asus VN279Q Review by PRAD

Look at my post on the last page. Its the Nividia driver that cause the washed out colors. They do not display the full rgb range over HDMI OR Displayport. look up either vn279 greys and/or vn279 nvidia rgb color toggle. You run that and it fixes the issue.

    Asus VN279Q Review by PRAD

I bought this monitor because the price it was going for was too good to pass up, a full hundred+ dollars less than anything else I was looking at. I can absolutely confirm that at least with Nvidia the black issue is the drivers and not the monitor. I plugged the monitor into the HDMI port...

Need a 27 inch monitor for gaming

Though I have no issues waiting as the current monitor Im using works fine, What concerns me about that monitor is first the price...and secondly looks like its a TN panel. Now that doesn't cause me to dismiss it right off but I am wary about the colors..the real issue is the price...

Need a 27 inch monitor for gaming

Howd you get ripped of? Thats pretty high.....Benchmarks Ive seen were a fair bit lower than that though, maybe not for BF4 though. In the ones I see sometime it has trouble getting over 60 at 1440p with everything at ultra. turning off AA seemed to help a bit but still the 770 seemed to be...

Need a 27 inch monitor for gaming

I've been looking at monitors for a bit now trying to narrow down the right one for the money I want to spend. I can get decent IPS monitors for around 300 and some VAs for even less. Two VA monitors that I have been looking at are Asus VN279Q and the BenQ EW2740L. These seem to be the 2 best...

    Asus VN279Q Review by PRAD

So I've been looking at monitors and this one seems to be one of the best aside from the greyish black issues, which I would think defeats the entire purpose of getting a VA monitor. Doing a little more research this is an Nvidia driver issue and not the actual monitor? Correct? All I need...
