Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
It seems slightly different, it does not have the loop track that I can see in yours.
Still, even if it is an UW the drives are not getting anywhere near the 40GB mark.
I'm trying to send you a photo but, how do you do it?
i did have the active terminator at the end of the cable tough.
I wonder if there was a mismach between tehrminator and 80 to 64pin adaptor.
I looked for instructions on how to use theese adaptors but could not find any on the web.
There are several jumpers like MTP, DLY, SIN,
They...
I tested the drives in stand alone( whit the exeption of the two that would not work without the Plextor PX-R412CI CD writer at the end of the cable;
connected to the 68 cable via a 50-68 adapter which I understand includes a 50-line terminator.
The moment that drive is unplugged from the...
Hi guys, I have a question.
I am building a workstation with a combination of: PATA drives, SATA II drives, and SCSI Ultra-320.
Now, when I tested the Read / Write speed I obtained the following results in MB/sec:
PATA (IDE).................48.........43..........OK...
Ok...Ok... keep your hair on.. :)
I feel as if I've insulted you. It was not my intention.
Anyway
I was wrong!
With the latest Bios all the problems disappeared.
The board is now functionig in all its glory but I'm still testing it very carefully after the way you've punished me...
I am not trying to antagonize you here, but just trying to clarify things.
The H8DC8 manual shows the 8132 driving 1x 100 Mhz bus and 1x2slots 133 Mhz bus not 2 133Mhz buses!
Since I have to work with multiple drives playing and capturing uncompressed video simultaneously (min 70 Mb/s each...
First of all thanks for the time taken in answering me.
You are most probably right and I thank you for your concern.
But you will pardon me if I find it hard to believe that a group of engineers spent a few weeks locked up in a lab eating sandwiches drinking diet Coke to design and...
Furthermore,
With SATA storage connected I get the following error message:
> Out of space for option ROMs
> Option ROM for the following device-PCI Mass Storage Controller on motherboard
> Bus 0A, Device 06, Functions 00 Was unable to run due to memory constraint.
…..so SCSI...
Thanks for the tip, I have moved my thread!!
This mobo has just arrived and I can tell it’s a recent one as they have removed the 6 way Sli power socket on the latest ones. So, how could they supply a mobo with Scsi and the wrong bios?? Sounds strange ….. but I’ll...
I’ve just got a K8we (w/SCSI) and the only disappointing thing is that they don’t tell you clearly that the SCSI controller runs off the 100Mhz Pci bus.
I bought the mo-bo cause it’s suppose to have 1 x Pci ex. Bus, 1 33Mhz Pci Bus, 1 x 100 Mhz Pci X bus ( 2 slots) and 1...
Hi guys,
I have finally kicked my K8WE into action today after several issues like memory and PSU choice.
BIOS: 1.01
RAM: KVR400S4R3A/512 x 2
PSU: Silverstone ST65ZF
CPU: AMD 248 x 2
It is working but …the SCSI controller doesn’t seem to find any of the connected...
