    VPN path question

Thank you for this detail! PIA doesnt seem to have this option although I know it uses a TAP driver. Might have to look into OpenVPN.

    VPN path question

Yes and no. I'm an independent contractor using my own laptop at various locations throughout the US where work is being performed. I must use the clients AP's for internet as I dont have a mobile hotspot or cell data sometimes. My communications between my employer are "privileged" and some...

    VPN path question

Thanks alot guys!!! Yea, I'm using a VPN client (PIA) on my laptop which I use everyday for work and personnel activities and connect to many open AP's, so I wanted to make sure my data was "protected" prior to ever reaching the AP. This was my main concern as some information could be...

    VPN path question

So, I have read a decent amount online about this but all the info seems to be all over the place, and I have a few general questions if a guru doesn't mind... With regards to a VPN and the connection path, which is the correct: Computer -> VPN(encryption takes place prior to being sent) ->...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I feel like the bottom section under the GPU is wasted space. An optional MB mount/tray to allow GPUS to literally lay on the floor of the M1, while giving space for a top mounted 240 rad would be a great "add-on" or "optional" item. IMO, this is the ONLY thing I personally think could improve...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Edit. After reading some Physics about wind, I guess my take was completely wrong, with regards to air rebounding all these months. Never thought to inquire until this mini discussion. I might rebuild the loop, again lol...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

So youre telling me, that as soon as a fan is introduced either naked or attached to a rad, the "hot air rising" effect is negated?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Now the 2 bottom fans to intake would work, but I was only commenting on the folks who set it up to expel instead of intake. I too have spent, 4 figures on parts for fun and trying to find the best temps I could. Now mind you I went straight to water when I couldn't find the Noctura CPU cooler...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I don't understand all the bottom vents or bottom mounted rads. Hot air rises yall and trying to force it out the bottom with the stock feet would only dissipate marginal, if any heat. Sure it looks nice, but it defeats the purpose of trying to "expel" heat from the puter.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Interesting. I have a titan which is pretty damn close TDP wise and it most certainly throttled, but maybe the 2080 has a much improved design.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

That card has to be thermal throttling. There is no way on earth there is enough flow in the Ncase for an OC'd 2080 ti.

Does anybody know of anybody offering a top mounted RAD mod and supporting motherboard invert by chance?

Ncase MAX PSU required for OC TitanX(pascal)/6700K

Hey thanks for the quick reply. I actually have a full custom loop and delid, so I have 0 issues with heat. Ive included a picture for fun. Id imaging seeing the Vdrop is within spec, its just weird, as soon as I started pushing on the components, this BSOD appeared and I cant get rid of it...

Ncase MAX PSU required for OC TitanX(pascal)/6700K

Hey guys few questions: Can the new 800W SX-L fit in the Ncase with a long GPU? I think the my current SF600 is throttling my titan and 6700k when I apply overclocks (4.6 / +150/425) HWm is showing about a 11.6/5v on the 12v under load as well as all other areas are not holding full voltages...
