Idle temp is 33C.
Mobo temp 28 C.
Room Temp is around 21C.

I debated about many of the 27" models out there, but coming from a 24" 16X10 format before, going to 27" 16X9 format just did not seem like that much of an upgrade.
Very happy with the 30" size and resolution.

It is $219 on Ebay and then there is a $50 rebate so getting it for $169.

I am coming form a Double sight 24" PVA 16X10 (Samsung) screen which I enjoyed for a few years.
The HP has no OSD, and only a hardware Brightness control up or down.

Unfortunately- the other available semi-glossy non-Korean choices form Dell and Samsung are just as bad.
I finally talked to someone in Business Tech Support. He did not know and said they do not get that information if they are sourcing different panels now- he only could verify that the "specs" had not changed which does not really address if they are using a different panel or AG coating.
