Great topic. This is something I've been struggling with for almost a year now as well. My system isn't that spectacular (barton 2500+ oc'd to 3000+, 9700pro) but I've been hard pressed to justify upgrading. For one, I don't exactly have the $ to do so with each new product that comes along...
Let's say I have $200 to spend, which is the better upgrade - new 6600GT video card or an Epox socket 754 board and the AMD 64 2800+ processor? Both would be bought through Newegg and come to roughly the same give or take a few $.
What I have now is an Epox NF2 board (8RDA+), 2 sticks 256 MB...
