Kinda intrigued by your testing Sonda, did you also test the stock setups ? I'm getting far better results with the H70 vs H50 dual fan setup...
I didn't test 4 fans as it ruins the concept of the design.
Would love to see the finished project but with all them loops it's really gonna be hard to ever change anything in that case and boy will it be stuffed...
So you think you will not have enough GPU power with eg just 2 GTX 285's... no need then to watercool them... Secondly an Antec spotcool...
Have a look at my review mate, I did some quick tests with the QX9650 and the I7 so you have an idea from where the WC starts to shine...
Swiftech Ultima kit review
At 4ghz I got a difference of around 7°C between the Swiftech kit and a True cooler (I must say that this QX9560 was a real...
Get off the 20 multi , run 19 multi with 200 BClock : this results in better performance for ya ram ( you can run it at 1600 mhz now) and ya cpu will require less volts then with the 20 multi...
Set QPI clock at 1.36 for 200Bclock
With my 920 on the Gb UD5

Get off the 20 multi mate, try 200 x 19 and you will see that you can run it at a way lower voltage then 20 x 190... it's weird but it's like that
For 200Bclock I use 1.36 QPI and run ya ram nice at 1600mhz...
Many of these CPU's have a FSB wall near 400-420 but that would mean you do a 100% OC (if ya keep ya multi at stock ofcourse) My CPU didn't do much with added voltage...
I did [email protected]
Indeed LLC disabled on that 600FSB 32MB Pi run just to see if the board did it with 1200Mhz ram ... loaded it was around 1.45ish level
I found this out :
400FSB / ram at 800 : lowest bootable Power level : 9
400FSB/ ram at 1000Mhz : lowest bootable Power level : 7
400FSB/ ram at 1066Mhz...
Never achieved 500FSB on my QX9650 with X38, P5Q Dlx P45 it's a breeze, so easy to setup and the new Biosses 0702 and 0704 make this puppy fly... Most P45 boards need some tinkering in the bios to gain some RAM speed (Perf level is 1-2 higher than most good P35 mobo's) but the easy clocking...
