I was initially concerned about the stock PSU (the 24-pin version which I've read to be more reliable than the earlier 20-pin) in my QPACK, but I have not experienced any problems whatsoever, and that's playing FEAR and BF2 with all options maxed out.

No problems with stock PSU yet...surprisingly. I have 2 y-splitters on the PSU leads (1 for Audigy and the other for optical drive). Played and finished F.E.A.R. with everything on high. Been playing BF2 for a week.
I'm still a little anxious about the integrity of the stock Aspire 420W...
