Wow, You guys were right on with the PSU comment ;), i was surprised that this happened so quick becasue i know i have a solid motherboard, and i know that processors rarely go bad (especially when at stock speed)......
i just unplugged my PSU, and plugged it back in and the damn thing...
No other mobo.
some of the fans are connected to the mobo, some to the psu...
shouldn't the mobo beep if there was something else not working (such as cpu or ram)?

actually case fans are all spining (5 in total), only cpu fan not spinning...(spinning on and off)
i do have an extra psu, i will try that tonight..........

I am having a hard time getting my TV out to work correctly on my 8600gts, and windows vista. the picture is perfect, except it is clipped all around, and no matter how i set it up, it does not work correctly.

I'm starting to think that this is not going to work, i think only certain video cards support this. i have never heard of video cards that support tv-out through VGA before! that is the requirement for this to work. my laptop with the intel 950gma series chipset supports tv-out through a tv out...

it works meaning that the tv does get a signal, but the signal is distorted, you can barely see anything...
is it supposed to work? or am i supposed to use some device in between or something?

well the whole problem started after messing with nvidia beta drivers, i removed them and installed the whql drivers, yet the problem remains.....
i was starting to think my video card was bad, but the whole system runs through games flawlessly for hours,...so i am confused, why during boot...
I get that error on occasion while booting into Vista Premium 32bits.... the system is very stable, and this is the only problem i have (just started a few days ago)......
