Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Have you tried engaging the LF switch on the back to -2dB?
Acoustically, almost cube-shaped rooms are the hardest to treat in the LF portion of the spectrum and will exhibit problem nodes the further your listening position moves from the centre of the room.
What are you using the system...
Sony MDR-7506's are comfortable, sound good, are very durable and travel well. Since they're pretty much the industry standard for live audio/broadcast use, replacement parts are readily available. I own two pairs, I've had one set for 10+ years...
I like the Sony MDR 7506's. Good balance of build quality, sound quality and comfort. They fold up and travel very well.

I've had one of my pairs for 10+ years, a road case fell on them at one point, cracked one of the arms, $10 worth of...
Looking at the manual for your sub, it seems that it's purpose built for exactly this type of integration (L/R Amp Power OUT -> Sub -> Speakers). Pretty slick if you ask me. You have control over sub level and crossover point, so why not give it a shot? You're more likely to degrade...
I would suggest reading the reviews in Sound On Sound magazine. Of the models you have listed, here are the ones that they have reviewed:

Thanks GoodBoy.
I agree that the lack of in depth reviewing can be excused, but honestly I think that it's almost not worth doing a sound card review at all, other than perhaps comparing connectivity and functionality. Actual audio performance reviewing is difficult unless you really dive into...
I agree, reviews based solely on subjective listening contain too many variables to be useful without supporting objective data. You have to take into account the listener's state of mind, the speakers, the listeners physical position in relation to the speakers and most importantly, room...
I'm curious, as a content creator, what exactly is impeding your usage of content you value, other than opening your wallet?
My vote goes towards policies that protect my right to expect a reasonable monetary return for the work that I do. BTW, what is it that you, Wehrwolf, do to earn a...
Can you provide more detailed information on your current system design and specific needs? There are important differences in how you distribute audio to your PA system vs recording, monitoring and hearing assist systems. Also, as was previously stated, in order to control speakers in a PA...
Hi LouP,
To confirm, all the devices connected to your computer (monitor, printer, HD's, etc.) are plugged into the same grounded receptacle? Also, do you have another pair of headphones to test (ie: stereo, no mic)?

I find their studio headphones to be rugged, comfortable and good sounding. They have a number of open back models at different price points. Worth a listen IMO.
